Product Liability & Installation Responsibility Disclaimer

 

Iron Shelf Direct magnetic shelves are engineered and manufactured to the highest quality standards. Our products are rigorously tested for durability, structural integrity, and safety. However, proper installation and use are critical to safe operation.

 

Installation Responsibility: The customer assumes full responsibility for the proper installation of Iron Shelf Direct magnetic shelves. Shelves must be installed on a suitable ferrous (steel-based) surface by a qualified individual. Improper installation, including but not limited to using inadequate mounting surfaces, incorrect fastening methods, or non-rated hardware, is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

 

Hardware Requirements: Iron Shelf Direct does not accept liability for damage, injury, or failure resulting from the use of inadequate, substandard, or incorrect fastening hardware. Heavy-duty, rated hardware appropriate for your wall type and the weight being supported must be used. Standard or light-duty fasteners are insufficient and do not meet our safety standards.

 

Weight Capacity & Overloading: Each Iron Shelf Direct magnetic shelf has a maximum weight capacity of 44 lbs (20 kg). Exceeding this capacity is strictly prohibited and voids all warranties. Iron Shelf Direct assumes no liability for injuries, property damage, or product failure resulting from overloaded shelves.

 

Mounting Surface Requirements: Shelves must be mounted only on proper ferrous (magnetic-receptive) surfaces such as steel studs or properly rated steel mounting surfaces. Mounting on inadequate surfaces, drywall-only installations, or non-ferrous materials will result in installation failure. We cannot be held liable for failures resulting from improper surface selection.

 

User Installation Liability: Iron Shelf Direct shall not be held liable for any injury, damage to property, or product failure resulting from improper installation, use of inadequate hardware, incorrect mounting surfaces, improper securing methods, or customer error in assembly or installation procedures.

 

Warranty Limitation: Any installation that does not follow our explicit installation guidelines voids all product warranties and our liability for consequential damages.
